Privacy Policy for Notification Test
Effective date: August 27, 2026
Notification Test does not collect, transmit, sell, or share personal or sensitive user data. Notification titles and text entered in the app are processed and, when scheduled, temporarily stored only on the user's device to display a local Android notification.
1. Developer and contact details
Notification Test is developed by D.K Applications (Daniel Kulak), Poland. Questions about this policy or privacy can be sent to dk.applicationsmail@gmail.com.
2. Data handled by the app
The app:
- does not create user accounts;
- does not include advertising, analytics, tracking, or social-media SDKs;
- does not request internet access;
- does not collect device identifiers, IP addresses, location, contacts, usage data, or diagnostic data;
- does not send any user data to the developer or to third parties.
A title or message entered by the user is processed locally solely to create the requested test notification. For a scheduled notification, the app stores its title, message, and delivery time in private on-device storage until the notification is sent or canceled. The developer cannot access this content. Android may retain notification content in its notification history if that device feature is enabled. This storage is controlled by the user and the operating system, not by the developer.
3. Notification permission
On Android versions that require it, the app asks for permission to post notifications. This permission is used only to display notifications explicitly requested by the user. It does not provide access to personal data. The permission can be denied or withdrawn at any time in Android settings.
4. Data retention and deletion
The developer does not receive or retain data generated through use of the app. Users can dismiss notifications, clear Android notification history, clear the app's local data, or uninstall the app at any time. Because the app has no accounts and stores no data on the developer's servers, there is no app account or server-side app data to delete.
5. Support correspondence
If a user voluntarily contacts the developer by email, the developer will process the email address, message content, and any other information the user chooses to provide only to respond to the request. The legal basis is taking steps at the user's request or the developer's legitimate interest in providing support and protecting legal rights, as applicable. Support correspondence is retained only for as long as needed to resolve the request and, where necessary, to comply with legal obligations or establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
Email is handled using Google's email service, which may process data under its own Privacy Policy. Support data is not sold or used for advertising by D.K Applications.
6. Privacy-policy website
This page is hosted on GitHub Pages. D.K Applications does not use analytics, advertising, tracking scripts, or its own cookies on this page. GitHub may process technical connection information when serving the page under the GitHub General Privacy Statement.
7. Children's privacy
The app does not knowingly collect personal data from children or from any other users. Users should not include personal or sensitive information in a support email unless it is necessary to resolve their request.
8. Rights of users in the EEA
Where applicable, users may request access to, correction of, deletion of, or restriction of personal data provided in support correspondence, and may object to its processing. Requests can be sent to the email address above. Users also have the right to lodge a complaint with their competent supervisory authority. In Poland, this is the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO).
9. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated if the app's functionality or applicable requirements change. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when a material change is made.
